CHRIS MATHEOS is a well known freelance musician and top selling instructional book author. He has over 30 years of touring experience performing with well known acts in about every style of music. 20 of his instructional bass method books have been published internationally by Mel Bay Publications. He has also released 18 original improvisational instrumental cd's as a band leader. Playing bass or producing, Chris brings positive creative energy and musical versatility to everything he touches.
WHATS NEW: Chris played bass with Allagator Records recording artists THE CASHBOX KINGS, BILLY FLYNN, and BEN LEVIN, in Minniapolis on new years eve. He also performed in southern California with Johnny Burgin in January. Chris produced Johnny Burgin's new video "ramblin from Coast to Coast" on Straight Shooter Records which was nominated for a Blues Blast Award for best blues video of 2024
